Hohhot is the capital of Inner Mongolia in North China, serving as the region’s administrative, economic, and cultural centre.Its population is about 2,866,615 inhabitants. A city with a rich cultural background, Hohhot is known for its historical sites and temples and is one of the major tourist destinations of Inner Mongolia. It is also nationally known as the home of China’s dairy giants Mengniu and Yili, and was declared “Dairy Capital of China” by the China Dairy Industry Association and the Dairy Association of China.
Hangzhou 杭州
Hangzhou is the capital and largest city of Zhejiang Province in Eastern China.[2] It sits at the head of Hangzhou Bay, which separates Shanghai and Ningbo. the fourth-largest metropolitan area in China. During the 2010 Chinese census, the metropolitan area held 21.102 million people. It is listed as one of the Seven Ancient Capitals of China. Within the city of Hangzhou are two notable mosques: Great Mosque of Hangzhou and the Phoenix Mosque.
The city has developed many new industries, including medicine, information technology, heavy equipment, automotive components, household electrical appliances, electronics, telecommunication, fine chemicals, chemical fibre and food processing.
Changzhou 常州
Located on the southern bank of theYangtze River, Changzhou borders the provincial capital of Nanjing to the west, Zhenjiang to the northwest, Wuxi to the east, and the province of Zhejiang to the south.
The agglomeration is now part of the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou metropolitan area which has now more than 36,000,000 inhabitants, only second in China after the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone
Today it is an important industrial center for textiles, food processing, engineering (diesel engines, generators, transformers and other machinery), and high technology.
Yantai 烟台
Yantai is located in northeastern Shandong province,China. Located on the Bohai Strait and the southern coast of the Korea Bay, Yantai borders the cities of Qingdao and Weihai to the southwest and east respectively. It is the largest fishing seaport in Shandong. Its population was 6,968,202 at the 2010 census, of whom 2,227,733 lived in the built-up area.
It is the largest fishing seaport in Shandong. Yantai is of strategic importance to China’s defence, as it and Dalian, directly across the Bohai Sea from it, are primary coastal guard points for Beijing.
