Jiamusi is a prefecture-level city in eastern Heilongjiangprovince, People’s Republic of China. Its population is 2,552,097.
Jiamusi has long been a major transit port and distribution center of goods, and serves as the economic hub of eastern Heilongjiang province. It has an area called Shuangyashan which is the farthest east part of China.
